Traditional Flamenco

Flamenco is intoxicating rhythms, dynamic energy, eye-catching costumes, heartfelt expression. It is one of Spain's oldest traditions, with its roots deeply intertwined in Gypsy, Jewish, Muslim and Christian cultures. Flamenco performances can be ideal for special events, such as festivals, corporate events, school shows, private parties. The dancers and musicians we work with are among the most respected flamenco artists in the U.S. and Spain.

She has a wealth of experience doing school programs as a member of many of New York's flamenco companies and independently. She has taken her troupe to perform for school shows at Bank Street School for Children, Ethical Culture Fieldston School, Horace Mann School, Riverdale Country School, New York University and many others.

New Andalucia: Re-Encounter of Flamenco and Arab Music

Great minds, ideas and art crossed the strait of Gibraltar (Jabal Tariq) back and forth and created a rich mix that transcended the boundaries of religion, ethnicity and language. Thirteen centuries later, six musicians and dancers, who have been working together for a decade, strive to recreate this era through their music as immigrants in New York City. Both the time and the place of this encounter are significant as New York becomes the New Andalucia with an evening of convivencia.
